My fitness journey properly started when it didn’t. Fitness came easily when I was younger, and became progressively harder as I got older, had kids and realised that my body wasn’t quite what it was.
I’d always taken my fitness for granted. I’d always recovered from any injuries or niggles I got quite quickly. And then came babies, and a weakened pelvic floor, and diastasis… and along with this came a troublesome lower back. And the list continues. I was shocked when I grunted to get up off the floor.
I want to keep moving as well as I possibly can for as long as possible, and I want to help you do this too. Exercise for me is so much more than just exercise – I absolutely need it for my mental health too.
